The beginning

It wasn't that far away in time that I have (re)discovered the pleasure of riding a bike to wander (and wonder) around.  It didn't take long to want to go further, for longer times, but logistically it has not been always possible to escape far from daily life. An attempt to use all opportunities to take a bike with me wherever I go and explore, becomes here a small collection of stories, inspired by the ones that often guided me when going somewhere for the first time. Stories about cycling as a part of life and mobility, and how it brings us close to new routes, sites, cultures, people, and, because I cherish it deeply, nature.
